- Gray Scale support. You can now set the charts to be painted in a gray scale (see image below). The gray scale settings are global and apply to all charts. There is a separate gray scale option for chart images that are inserted into reports.
- Modified the grid that displays available charts. You can now double click on the preview chart to open it up or press the delete key to delete it. The grid will now show the date a chart was last modified. Note that this does not apply to files that were created prior to this update.
- Various smaller enhancements and bug fixes.

- Added 'Stat' property to the legend. This property allows you to determine what stats (e.g. Sum, Count, Avg etc) are displayed when the legend style is set to lsStat. See tutorial here.
- The program will now remember the last slide show folder.
- Added and updated a few How-to topics in the help file including how-to do a Multiple Baseline Chart and how to insert a floating legend (see image below).
- The flash tutorials are now accessible through a link on the 'Get Started' section of the help file.
- New tutorial on modifying axis minimum and maximum values. See tutorial here.
- Fixed a bug that caused path breaks to be drawn when none where inserted into the spread sheet.
- Fixed the chart editor so that it redraws the chart when changes are made to the axis increment.
- Improved the 'Check for update' feature, especially when the program is running on Vista or Windows 7.

- Fixed a problem that caused the bottom axis labels to show wrong values when the chart displayed an overall stat. for a series such as Average or Trend.

- New Series Path Breaks. These are path breaks that belong to a particular data series.
- You can now control if a series is displayed in the legend by checking the Show in Legend property (which you can find under the Series tab in the chart editor).
- Various changes made to the interface to make it easier to plot data and to incorporate and control path breaks (phase change lines).
- New properties and features added to the Periodmark object.
- Various bug fixes.

- The web site now has a tutorial section which demonstrates various features.

- Information about phase and treatment changes can now be stored with
the data. For example, in the spread sheet, thick
top cell border will
now be interpreted by the program as an instruction to draw a path
break line between the data separated by the border. See the help file
for more information.
- Default settings for the path break line (line style and line width)
can now be set in the template section of the chart editor.
- Fixed a bug that could prevent the program from shutting down appropriately
when it was not allowed to create a settings file in the program
directory.

- Fixed an issue that could cause the print preview of the chart to
be drawn incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue that could cause changes to the print margins not
to take effect.
- Added an option to print the chart without maintaining proportions
between width and height. This ensures that the chart will be printed
on the whole printable area of the page.

Several new enhancements including:
- New Legend Style (lsFirstValue) which allows you to identify a series
by its first value.
- The caption for your data grid is now the default title for new graphs
based on those data.
- You can use the chart template to set default values for:
- Series Valuemarks (if and how text is displayed above each data
point).
- Legend Style (determines what is shown in the legend).
- Series (data path) colors. Please note that you can create
several different templates in the chart editor. This way you
can have several different color schemes and looks and quickly
switch back and forth between them.
- Added toolbar commands to the chart window that allows you to quickly
insert path breaks (phase change lines) , period marks and text.
- Path break lines, annotation text and shapes can now be deleted
by clicking the object and pressing the delete key.
Fixed problems with storing spread sheet data and charts. However,
this version of the program may have a problem reading existing files
creating with older versions of the program. In most cases the spread
sheet data will be read ok but the charts will not :( |

New feature: You can now insert sample values. These values are
randomly generated and can be helpful when learning how to use the
program.
New feature: Date Crosstab graphs. These graphs are available for
interval data and calculate the grand total for the day of the week
(if your interval is less than a week), week of the month (if your
interval is weekly), or month of the year (if your interval is monthly).
Fixed: Editing values in the interval grid when the interval was less
than a day. |
